Ombre Fades: We Love to Blog Challenge #3

Second Life Fantasy Fashion Role-Play Review.

Good evening everyone, tonight I wanted to share a couple photos I created for the We Love to Blog Challenge #3: Ombre/Fades. The challenge was to create a post using the theme Ombre Fades, having colors or tones that shade into each other —used especially of fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark.

Second Life Fantasy Fashion Role-Play Review.

I went with two items for my Ombre Fade challenge items, The Sirenas Dress and the Elvire Hair. I was given the wonderful  Sirenas Dress  by  Sweet Lies. This pretty fit mesh dress is a gacha item available in the new round of the Enchantment, August 14 to September 4. The theme is Little Mermaid. It is only 50 lindens each play. There are six common and 3 rare colors to collect. This beauty is a must have!

To go along with the beautiful dress, I added the Ligia Collar and Bracers (L$30/try). They are both original designs from the Ligia Gacha Collection, also by  Sweet Lies. The Ligia Gacha Collection consists of three color sets (green, blue, purple) to win. Each color set has four pieces to collect, a Dorsal Fin, Bracers, Collar, and bra/thong set.

The Ombre Elvire Hair by Mina Hair (L$250).  I love the way the hair looks as if it is flowing in the wind. This hair is available in thirteen color packs, each pack has five color shades. There is even an essential pack! I love those.. they are what keeps me coming back to Mina, next to the quality and styles, of course.

For my avatar:

The lovely skin is from the Chronicle Drow Skin Collection in the Frost skin tone (L$800) by Gauze. The drow skin pack comes with four tones, Coal, Silver, Frost and Snow. The Chronicle line features skins for Women, FemBois, and Men, all sold separately. The Chronicle skin line is available in a wide selection of 9 color collection. Each set comes with four lovely shades of the selected skin color. Appliers are sold separately for The Mesh Project, Slink, and Omega.

Also by Gauze are the DragonBorn Eyes in Onyx (L$100). The detailing on these mesh eyes are amazing. They come in a set of five vibrant colors, perfect for your dragon or demon kin avatars. They are also available at We <3 Roleplay till August 30th.

The Mer Long Uni-Ears (L$399) are from .:SOUL:.. Uni-Ear collection. The set includes one pair of mesh ears, a Uni ears HUD, Alpha layers and instructions. The Uni Ear HUD that allows you to change the tattoos and skin. You can also adjust your transparency, glow and tint via the hud. The Uni Ears HUD is very easy to use. The HUDs come pre-loaded with .:SOUL:. Skin tones too. So you can easily match the ears to your favorite .:SOUL:. skins.

The Leia Eyeshadow is by Zibska for the Mesh body Addicts Fair until the 21st of August.  The Leia Eyeshadow set comes with 12 tattoo colors and an applier for Lelutka. Zibska has created 20 makeup sets for this event, you can see all of them on their flickr account here.

The  Basic HUD Controlled Mesh Lashes (L$175) are by Dulce Secrets. The Mesh Lashes are available in four different colors with a HUD that has seven eyelash styles. They are a very easy modify to fit to your eyes.

The Anya Angler Kissers are one of the many great new releases from .:SOUL:. for Enchantment this month. There is also a male version of these lips. These lips are amazing mesh mouths for your merfolk. They are the perfect shape and are full of sharp pointy teeth. Each mouth kit comes with a mesh mouth, mesh teeth, 3 alpha layer options, alignment tattoo & applier, Kisser Hud loaded with textures to match Catalina skin tones and nine lip colors. You can adjust your transparency, glow and tint via the hud. The Applier HUD is easy to use and I have had no trouble to match my Kisser mouths to skins by other Designers. If you don't want the hassle of doing it yourself you can send a note asking your favorite skin designers to support the Kisser system or you could buy skins from Soul to match. They have some really pretty ones available. Demos are available.

I am also wearing SLINK's AvEnhance Elegance Hands (L$675) and AvEnhance High Feet (L$675), both the hands and feet are easy to wear. Each set comes with a HUD that makes it easy to match skin tones and a utility HUD for tattoos, stockings, and fingernails.

For my poses in these photos I used the Dress #3 Pose Set (L$75/set or L$40/pose) by Black Tulip. This is a lovely five static pose set perfect for displaying your finery. It includes mirrored poses. Black Tulip has a very large variety of poses for men and women, couples and singles, along with full perm mesh home designs.

Photos were taken on the SaNaRae Heaven Ocean Sim.

Hope you enjoyed that post! See you next time!
