"Every year excitement would ripple through the village when the first of the Gypsys appeared in the field outside of the town walls. We never saw them coming, they just were there overnight, silently appearing as if from thin air. You could hear the coin jingling in the pockets of townsfolk as they eyed the exotic wares. Their brains rumbled as they try to think how they could outfox the Gypsies and get the good for less, though it always went in the Gypsy's favor." 

 
RVi Design (Fantasy Faire SLURL |  Main Store | Marketplace) created a bunch of amazing designs to help us create our own Gypsy Camps. I absolutely love their builds. RVi Design by Roshy Aura offers you a variety of indoor and outdoor accessories, builds, and landscape designs. They are so creative and immersive.  Let's take a closer look at the pieces I used in my image above.


The Gypsy King Party Wagon is an open-air covered wagon. It is 12 land impact. It is a copy and modify version, so you can have as many as you wish and re-texture the multi-face objects.


The interior is open and contains crates and pillows. It seats up to six avatars. 
Perfect for hanging out with friends.


The Arabian Market comes with three ready-to-use sets in purple, red, and brown tents with a sitting animation in the ottomans, along with a tent that is color changeable w/o the components linked. All interior components are also included so you can set up the tent any way you prefer and are not locked into the pre-set version. All items are 0.5-10li each.


The Gypsy Queen Caravan is a lovely Vardo perfect for your fortune teller to hold court in. The vardo is fully furnished and loaded with multiple animations for up to 8 avatars. It is a copy and modify version, so you can have as many as you wish and re-texture the multi-face objects to fit best your taste.


The interior is beautifully decorated. It is homey and cozy. The bright colors set the mood perfectly!


No Gypsy camp would be complete without a pretty Gypsy Girl. Lucky for us RVi has a full Gypsy Girl avatar. It includes classic shape (relatively short, modifiable), dark eyes, and skin (BOM version for mesh bodies and heads included. There are six versions of mesh hair in vibrant colors, as well as mesh clothing and unrigged mesh gold jewelry.  The body and head skin go well with Maitreya mesh bodies and Lelutka mesh heads (Evo).

I picked this set up during the last Home and Garden expo. I was unable to locate it at the LOVE sim. LOVE has a huge selection of affordable trees and landscaping designs. I recommend them highly.

Lunaria makes amazing landscaping creations. They are the first place I go when I am looking for something new for my outdoor designs. Their work is very detailed. They use high-quality textures and their designs are very affordable. Which makes feeling my landscaping addiction easy on my pocketbook! I picked up this pretty grass and flower set during the St. Patrick's Market and Treasure Hunt last March. I was unable to locate them in the main store, but I did find many other great flowers/grass sets I need. So if you are wanting something like this check out Lunaria!


 RVi Design | Meadow Field Grass |  150L
RVi Design is another of my favorite places I like to go when looking for affordable high-quality designs. The Meadow Field Grass is part of the Meadow field pack. It comes with four versions of the grass, each 1li, 5x5m, mod/copy. I highly recommend RVi Design if you are in the market for home decor, garden decor, or new builds.


✫ SKYBOX SCREEN
TA Hardware | Pine Tree Screen 2015 |  40L
I found the Pine Tree Screen on the Marketplace. It is a single prim flat mesh panel, copy/mod. It is a very nice quality texture. Perfect for screening out pesky neighbors and still creating a nice feel to your land. The top of the texture is alpha to allow the SL sky to show through without a line.

The full avatar set includes classic shape (relatively short, modifiable), dark eyes, and skin (BOM version for mesh bodies and heads included. The outfits fit classic and Maitreya bodies. You will need to use alphas to make it fit well with TMP and Belleza bodies.

This head can support Evolution (EVO) and Evolution X (EvoX) skins. The Lilly set comes with a Head, Teeth, Mesh Eyes, Elf Ears, and many bonus goodies like hairbases, face light, multiple teeth accessories like braces, ear piercings, and samples of cosmetic tattoos. It is Bakes on Mesh Ready (BOM) and comes with a default shape, Head and Ear skins in BOM layers, and skin, brow, and eye applier. Avatar complexity for the head alone is approximately +5738 (Head, Teeth, and Eyes). Lelutka is my go-to place for mesh heads. I love their style, quality, and ease of use for their huds. I own several of their heads. There are demos available for you to try before you buy.

✫ MESH BODY
Maitreya | Lara Mesh Body | 2,750L
The Lara Mesh Body is BOM (Bakes On Mesh) ready. The body includes Bom add-on parts, a save stick to save your configurations, Bento hands with hand poses, and hand AO built into the HUD. The body has the 5 default foot shapes (Flat, Low, Mid, High, and Ballet). The HUD comes loaded with 22 Glam Affair skin tones, and BOM layers are provided. There are five nail shape options and 19 nail polish options. Alphas are controlled via HUD. There are over 200 possible selections. The body comes with mesh lingerie made by Erratic and BOM Layers by Zaara.  This is the mesh body I wear the most; I really like the softer curves, and  I find most outfits are offered in their shape. If you prefer a petite or flat look, Maitreya has add-ons for the Lara Mesh Body for 499-599L each. The Lara Mesh Body, the Petite Add-on, and the Flat-Chest Add-on have demos available to try before you buy.  

✫ HORSES
Teegle | "Barley," the Belgian Horse | 1,500L non-copy or 6,000L copyable 
Teegle has a dozen (probably more) Teeglepet Horse breeds to choose from. You can rez your Horse on your land to ride or let it wander. It can sit up to three people, or you can wear it from your inventory. It is a fully animated horse controlled via hud. You can walk, trot, canter, and gallop! You can set your Horse to wander and limit the distance via hud. There are privacy settings to prevent the theft of your beloved Horse. But if somehow it does get stolen or wanders off, never fear. You can track it and have it delivered home via the Teegle website. Do note there are two ways to buy a Teeglepet Horse; one is the no-copy version (1,500L) the other is a copyable version (6,000L). The non-copy version does just as it says, you can not make a copy of the Horse, but you can get it redelivered if you lose it. The copyable version lets you rez as many as your land can hold. You can go crazy with this version. If you don't have the money to buy a copyable version now, don't worry, you can purchase the non-copy version and upgrade to a copyable version later for 4,500L.

Celebrating its thirteenth year, Fantasy Faire 2022 is the largest gathering of fantasy designers, enthusiasts, role players, and performers in the virtual world. Treat yourself to sixteen days of shopping, live music concerts, auctions, hunts, events, and role-playing as thousands of Second Life residents and creators bring their own visions together to support the American Cancer Society’s vision of a world without cancer. Over 250 of the grid’s top fantasy creators participating in the fair that spans 20 uniquely decorated sims forming a circle of lands. There are many fantastic designs to peruse, beautiful environments to explore, and many activities to attend. You do not want to miss this incredible event.
