Quick before the Fairelands Fadeaway

 There are only a few days left to the Fantasy Faire, if you haven't managed to get all the sights in nows is the time to prioritize a visit. The Fairelands will fade back into the mists on May 8th. You really don't want to miss all the magical fun to be had!


Check the list below for all the great items that make up this look:

✫ DRESS: The Princess of Elvenwood outfit is a beautiful creation by  Jazabelle Boutique. The outfit comes with the Tiara, Dress, Boots, thong, and collar. It is fitted for Maitreya. You can pick up the outfit for 245L at the Fantasy Faire until May 8th.

✫ ORB:  The Necturn Moon Hand Orb (Honey) is a creation by Jinx. It is an animated hand orbe with hand tosses. Very lovely and well animated. I enjoyed standing around and watching the ball toss between my hands. You can pick up the orb for 150L at the Fantasy Faire until May 8th.

 ✫ STAFF:  The Wildspur's Blessing Staff Polearm is a fantastic creation by Broken Arc. It is part of the Wildspur's Blessing weapon set. The set includes a bow, 2-hand sword, and polearm. It is a unity maxim weapon set, Unity maxim 2.5 scripted. It is resizable. There is also a Bloom Weapon Set. Both sets are Fantasy Faire Exclusives.  You can pick up the sets for 1500L at the Fantasy Faire until May 8th. You can also buy the pieces separately too for 600l each.


 ✫ HORNS: Blue Blood created the fantastic Averno Horns. The customizable horns are HUD-driven with 4 colors for horns and 3 for bands. Materials ready, copy/mod/no trans.  You can pick up the horns for 199L at the Fantasy Faire until May 8th.

✫ AVATAR:   This striking Avatar is the Panthorian Character Kit created by STAR Mesh Body in collaboration with Mindgardens Creations as a special Star Mesh Body Add-on for the Fantasy Faire. The add-on kit comes with multiple Panthorian skin tones and variations, and three custom shapes; it is BOM optimized. The kit includes a custom hed, claws, paws, fangs, skins, eyes, ears, hair, clothes, whiskers, tail, body, and face glow accessories. It integrates perfectly with the STAR Mesh body.  

You can get the Panthorian Character Kit for free during the Fantasy Faire by purchasing a Star Mesh Body. The STAR Mesh body has many advanced features and was created to be as realistic as possible. It's worth every penny and more!  The STAR Mesh body comes with many MOD options to help you get the most realistic customized look perfect for you. It is Bakes on Mesh compatible; has an advanced mesh body shaper in the hud; comes with wiggly elf, and pixie ear modifiers in six sizes; comes with four body layers for appliers (skin, tattoo, underwear, clothes); ten default skin tones with 5 freckles and custom shapes. The Mesh Head is included with the body. It has twenty face poses and 10 mood animations. It is only 4,500L. You can pick up a copy at the main store or the Fantasy Faire. Demos are available; you should check this body and add-on kit out! 

I was able to wear the outfit even though it was fitted for Maitreya only by using the STAR Body Conformer. This handy mod allows me to reshape my STAR Body to fit other mesh body-fitted outfits! This is a game-changer! It is as easy as pressing a button! Now I can enjoy my ultra-realistic body with all my old favorite outfits! You can pick up a copy of the STAR Body Confirmer for 1000L at the main store or the Fantasy Faire. (Note, you may have to fiddle with it a bit. The confirmer does not work perfectly every time. It depends on how close the design you are trying to confirm fits the traditional SL frame)

✫ MAKEUP: My makeup is from the pre-loaded cosmetics provided in STAR MESH BODY HUD.

✫ HAIR:  I picked up the lovely Joya Hairstyle at Doux for 550L (basic pack with deluxe hud). Joya is a fitted mesh hairstyle; the basic package includes 1 hairstyle and the fatpack color HUD. The deluxe hud consists of all stylings (4) available with the hair and color tint abilities. You will need to buy the basic pack for the hair before you buy the deluxe, as the deluxe is only a hud. The hair is in the basic package. Demos are available to try before you buy.

✫ LIGHTING: For lighting, I use LUMIPro. LUMIPro is a HUD worn by the photographer that controls all aspects of lights worn by the model or self. The photographer can adjust position, color, radius, and falloff. You do not need rez right to use LUMIPro. The built-in posing system controls ten models independently without needing to rez for pose stands. You can pick up a copy for 6,6995L on the Marketplace.

A Benefit for the American Cancer Society

Celebrating its thirteenth year, Fantasy Faire 2022 is the largest gathering of fantasy designers, enthusiasts, role players, and performers in the virtual world. Treat yourself to sixteen days of shopping, live music concerts, auctions, hunts, events, and role-playing as thousands of Second Life residents and creators bring their own visions together to support the American Cancer Society’s vision of a world without cancer. Over 250 of the grid’s top fantasy creators participating in the fair that spans 20 uniquely decorated sims forming a circle of lands. There are many fantastic designs to peruse, beautiful environments to explore, and many activities to attend. You do not want to miss this incredible event.
