Time changes all things.

The village had grown since the last time I had been home. Gone were the wood cabins and mud-covered adobe homes with their thatched roofs. In their place were houses of solid stone sparkling with crystal accents. Well built to keep out the fickle weather in the region. The wealth from the crystal mines was evident in the materials used by the builders. The stairs to the town center reflected the light off four crystals, each as tall as I was, if not more. The price alone for those was staggering!


Interwove amongst the new were still vestiges of the home I remembered. Between the towering houses stood the trees. I remembered their woven pods swaying in the wind. Still welcoming to weary residents to take a short respite from their toils. Now to hope that even though the town changed, the people still were the same. If not...If they were as changed as the city, I can only hope that in their growth, they too retained a bit of the old and would welcome me home.

I picked this set up during the last Home and Garden expo. I was unable to locate it at the LOVE sim. LOVE has a huge selection of affordable trees and landscaping designs. I recommend them highly.

[CIRCA] Living is one of the first places I go to look when I am redecorating my home. I absolutely love the quality and design of their creations.

Lunaria makes amazing landscaping creations. They are the first place I go when I am looking for something new for my outdoor designs. Their work is very detailed. They use high-quality textures and their designs are very affordable. Which makes feeling my landscaping addiction easy on my pocketbook! I picked up this pretty grass and flower set during the St. Patrick's Market and Treasure Hunt last March. I was unable to locate them in the main store, but I did find many other great flowers/grass sets I need. So if you are wanting something like this check out Lunaria!


 RVi Design | Meadow Field Grass |  150L
RVi Design is another of my favorite places I like to go when looking for affordable high-quality designs. The Meadow Field Grass is part of the Meadow field pack. It comes with four versions of the grass, each 1li, 5x5m, mod/copy. I highly recommend RVi Design if you are in the market for home decor, garden decor, or new builds.


TA Hardware | Pine Tree Screen 2015 |  40L
I found the Pine Tree Screen on the Marketplace. It is a single prim flat mesh panel, copy/mod. It is a very nice quality texture. Perfect for screening out pesky neighbors and still creating a nice feel to your land. The top of the texture is alpha to allow the SL sky to show through without a line.

A Benefit for the American Cancer Society

Celebrating its thirteenth year, Fantasy Faire 2022 is the largest gathering of fantasy designers, enthusiasts, role players, and performers in the virtual world. Treat yourself to sixteen days of shopping, live music concerts, auctions, hunts, events, and role-playing as thousands of Second Life residents and creators bring their own visions together to support the American Cancer Society’s vision of a world without cancer. Over 250 of the grid’s top fantasy creators participating in the fair that spans 20 uniquely decorated sims forming a circle of lands. There are many fantastic designs to peruse, beautiful environments to explore, and many activities to attend. You do not want to miss this incredible event.
