Inspired by Neo Japan

Today's post was inspired by the Neo Japan Event, which runs until April 17th. The event focuses on designs that show a futuristic bold, modern Asian style as you would see in a future Japan. I probably spent too much lindens at the event but had a great time. If you have not been yet, I recommend stopping in if you like futuristic cyber styling.

✫ JUMPSUIT & WRAP: The Colette Jumpsuite and Colette Wrap is a new release by Just BECAUSE for Uber. This is by far my favorite design for a dress yet. I love that it mixes a dress and jumpsuit together to create such a strikingly stylish look. This outfit would look great in an ultra-chic modern affair as it does in a dystopian futuristic setting. Annie has really outdone herself on this one. I absolutely recommend treating yourself to this outfit. The jumpsuit and wrap are sold separately, so you can pick from 18 fabulous colors to create the perfect combination. Individual pieces are 249l each, or you can purchase the fatpack for 1,299l. This outfit is fitted for Maitreya Lara, Legacy, Perky, Kupra, and Reborn. Remember to try the demos first.

Just BECAUSE creates high-quality original mesh clothing for women. I can not stress how much I love Just BECAUSE's designs. I have been following/blogging Just BECAUSE since 2012. The quality has always been top of the line, with significant care given to the styling and hand-drawn textures. To top it all off, Just BECAUSE has always kept it reasonably priced. Most places I found when I was younger have outgrown my price range and, if we are honest, style. But not Just BECAUSE; it just keeps getting better and better.

✫ HEELS: The Alicia Heels are by Mosquito's Way. They are a group gift. The group costs 50L to join. It is well worth it. Mosquito's Way makes some really adorable 100% original mesh designs and spoils their group members with wonderful gifts.

✫ MASK: Caboodle created the  Kitsune Mask. The mask comes in two versions, one with ribbons and one without. the bells, tassels, and ribbons are customizable via a color change hud. The mask is modifiable so you can remove the bells, tassels, and ribbons by modifying the transparency on the linked parts. A resize script is included. The mask is on sale for 299l t the NEO Japan event, which runs until April 17th.

✫ ARM: The Kera Cyber Arms were created by The ForgeI am a massive sucker for cybernetics, so I couldn't resist adding the Kera Cyber Arms to my growing collection. The arms are fitted for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. You can wear both arms or a single arm. The hud includes 8 sci-fi textures with over 15 surfaces to customize and features a tint-hud. You can pick these fantastic arms up for 399L at the NEO Japan event, which runs until April 17th.

✫ SWORDS: In photo one, I used the Helion Blade by The Forge and the Aniamist Samurai Sword by Val'more. I only used the Helion Blade by The Forge in the second photo. See both swords' details below:

[The Forge] Helion Blade, Black. This is a cosmetic version of this sword. It includes an over-the-shoulder stance and back versions with resizers. It also comes with a tint-hud for the Blade and LED glow. It is 299l at the NEO Japan event, which runs until April 17th.

[Val'More] Aniamist Samurai Sword. The Aniamist Samurai Sword is part of a complete "Aniamist Samurai" look on sale at the NEO Japan event, which runs until April 17th. The whole look (not pictured) consists of a complete armor set for males or females; the flag and sword are sold separately. The fatpack has everything in it. The double sword set which I purchased is 280l.

✫ HAIR:  I am wearing F193 by KMH. The F193 hairstyle is unrigged hair, copy only, and comes with three optional bangs. The hairstyle is available in two color packs (Natural and Colorful, 325l each) or a fatpack for 550L at the NEO Japan event, which runs until April 17th.

✫ EYES: I am wearing IKON's 'Perspective' Eyes in Oxidation (M). IKON's eyes are affordable at 150-170L each, and if you join their in-world group, you can get a free set of eyes. Ikon's Eye sets come with IKON Mesh Eyes that are HUD controlled. You also get appliers for Lelutka, Omega, Genus, Catwa, and BOM Layers in multiple eye sizes. I have worn IKON eyes for years. I highly recommend them because they are affordable and have a massive range of colors and styles.

✫ HEAD and BODY SKIN:  The lovely Jalyn Skin is by .:Soul:. Jayln is a Generation 3 [G3] skin. I am wearing the [H1] Human skin tone. The head skin is Evolution/standard. The head skin and body skin are sold separately. Both head and body skins are available in 16 human and fantasy skin tone variations. There are demos available to try before you buy. You can pick the Head Skin up for 899L for each skin tone or buy a fatpack of all 8 human or 8 fantasy skins for 5,999L each. The body skin is available for Belleza, Legacy, Omega, and Slink for 449L for each skin tone or 2,999L for the fatpack. If you join the .:Soul:. VIP group (350L), you can get a 15% discount on every purchase and free group gifts and teasers on new releases, updates, and store sales.

✫ SHAPE: The lovely Ume Shape is by  Unknown Hare. I picked it up at the Happy Event last month for 300L.

✫ HEAD: I am wearing Lelutka's Avalon Mesh Head in this post. At the time of this posting, this head costs 3,990L. This head can support  Evolution (EVO) and Evolution X (EvoX) skins. The Avalon set comes with a Head, Teeth, Mesh Eyes, Elf Ears, and many bonus goodies like hairbases, face light, multiple teeth accessories like braces, ear piercings, and samples of cosmetic tattoos. It is Bakes on Mesh Ready (BOM) and comes with a default shape, Head and Ear skins in BOM layers, and skin, brow, and eye applier. Avatar complexity for the head alone is approximately +5738 (Head, Teeth, and Eyes). Lelutka is my go-to place for mesh heads. I love their style, quality, and ease of use for their huds. I own several of their heads. There are demos available for you to try before you buy.

✫ BODY: Today's body of choice is Maitreya's Lara Mesh Body. The Lara Mesh Body is Bakes on Mesh Ready (BOM). The body includes Bom add-on parts, a save stick to save your configurations, Bento hands with hand poses, and hand AO built into the HUD. The body has the 5 default foot shapes (Flat, Low, Mid, High, and Ballet). The HUD comes loaded with 22 Glam Affair skin tones, and BOM layers are provided. There are five nail shape options and 19 nail polish options. Alphas are controlled via HUD. There are over 200 possible selections. The body comes with mesh lingerie made by Erratic and BOM Layers by Zaara. At the time of posting, the Maitreya Lara Mesh Body costs 2,750L. If you prefer a petite or flat look, Maitreya has add-ons for the Lara Mesh Body for 499-599L each. The Lara Mesh Body, the Petite Add-on, and the Flat-Chest Add-on have demos available to try before you buy.

✫ POSE: Eternal Dreams Poses  Mala 02  and Naga 02 non-bento pose.

✫ LIGHTING: For lighting, I use LUMIPro. LUMIPro is a HUD worn by the photographer that controls all aspects of lights worn by the model or self. The photographer can adjust position, color, radius, and falloff. You do not need rez right to use LUMIPro. The built-in posing system controls ten models independently without needing to rez for pose stands. You can pick up a copy for 6,6995L on the Marketplace.

✫  The amazing Aura was treated by En Pointe.  I love the glittering magical swirls of light this aura makes. It comes with a hud to recolor the glitter and swirls. If f you join the En Pointe group (free) you can get it for  1L! If you do not wish to join the group you can purchase it for 150l.

✫ OVERLAY IN IMAGE: The dust-particles-on-lens overlay used on the image is by Kerast and can be found on DeviantArt.
